Your Smartphone or Your Life

Mitch Doughty

It seemed that this was the perfect beginning to our Science Technology Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) track. Thinking about the items that matter most in your life are critically important to getting the most out of them. Like he mentioned in his spiel, prioritizing work/school plays a major role in your ability to engage fully in the other aspects of life that you care about, especially through closely held relationships. In regards to STEM, education is where it all begins.  The fascination and attraction to STEM is all about committing complete cognitive attention to a puzzle or task by fully plugging in and engaging.

The following experts will discuss the ethical considerations that are most appropriate to their fields through their lived and researched experience. They will discuss and even assume that technology’s relevance and ability is a tremendous asset to productivity in their profession. We hope that you agree and can say the same for your own profession. Technology has impacted various industries and lines of work at an uneven rate but even the oldest professions have wildly enhanced due to technological evolution. The following lectures will illustrate why Bill Daniels’ ethical principles matter for a wide range of professionals. Enjoy!
